Through the Great Sandy Straits we
had to work the tides to ensure we didn’t run aground. We left about 10am and didn’t set the anchor
down until 4pm.
The kids took advantage
of the flat water and got creative, while Rich and I spent the entire time
navigating through the channel markers and slowing down over the shallows. At one stage we had 40cm under the keel!
