We farewelled Coffs at 7.30am and hopefully our last
overnight sail for a while (I think I’ve said that once before!)
Running with a slight swell and light wind meant motor
sailing once again but at least it makes for a comfortable ride and the kids
are happy to go below.
After trailing a lure on a number of occasions without any luck, just before sunset all mayhem broke loose as the fishing rod went nuts. With a bit of yelling to slow the boat down and a lot of excitement from the kids, our first fish on passage was caught.
