We were rewarded with a beautiful sunset after a long 12
hour sail with rain, lightning and thunder.
We left at 1.30am so we could get some miles under our belt before the
kids woke up. If we didn’t have to
contend with the rain it would have been a good passage, as we finally
got some wind and could actually sail instead of motor. The only plus was the rain had dampened down
the sea and the kids were happy to go below and watch a movie, Game Day and the
footy.
